MIRROR: POWER MIRROR CONTROL SYSTEM (w/ Memory): DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST

DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST

1. USING TECHSTREAM
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Monitor the ECU data by following the prompts on the tester screen.
HINT: The Techstream has a "Snapshot" function which records the monitored data. Refer to the Techstream operator's manual for further details.

2. DATA LIST
HINT: Using the DATA LIST displayed on the Techstream, you can read the value of the switch, sensor, actuator, etc. without parts removal. Reading the DATA LIST as the first step of troubleshooting is one way to shorten the labor time.

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the ignition switch ON.
(c) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Mirror L and Mirror R / Data List.

(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Master Switch / Data List.
(e) According to the display on the Techstream, read the Data List.

(f) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Driver Seat / Data List.
(g) According to the display on the Techstream, read the Data List.

(h) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Body / Data List.
(i) According to the display on the Techstream, read the Data List.

3. ACTIVE TEST
HINT: Performing the ACTIVE TEST using the Techstream allows you to operate the relay, VSV, actuator, etc. without parts removal. Performing the ACTIVE TEST as the first step of troubleshooting is one way to shorten the labor time. It is possible to display the DATA LIST during the ACTIVE TEST.

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the ignition switch ON.
(c) According to the display on the Techstream, perform the "Active Test".
