REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
2. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL RH
3. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER
4. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
5. REMOVE FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL RH
6. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM COVER SIDE Removal
7. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
8. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Removal
9. REMOVE NO. 2 AIR CLEANER INLET Removal
10. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
11. REMOVE AIR CLEANER FILTER ELEMENT
12. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
13. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET Removal
14. DISCONNECT RADIATOR RESERVOIR TANK HOSE Removal
15. REMOVE HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE COVER Removal
16. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY Removal
17. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
18. REMOVE FAN SHROUD Removal
19. REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT Removal
20. REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the terminal cap.
(b) Remove the nut and disconnect the wire harness from terminal B.
(c) Disconnect the generator connector from the generator assembly.
(d) Disconnect the connector from the compressor and magnetic clutch.
(e) Disconnect the 2 wire harness clamps.





(f) Remove the 2 bolts.





(g) Remove the bolt and generator assembly.
(h) Disconnect the wire harness clamp and remove the nut and generator bracket.





(i) Remove the bolt and wire harness clamp stay.
