2UR-FSE COOLING: THERMOSTAT: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL WATER INLET SUB-ASSEMBLY WITH THERMOSTAT






(a) Install a new gasket and the water inlet with thermostat with the 3 nuts.
Torque: 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)
2. CONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE






(a) Connect the radiator hose.
HINT: The direction of the hose clamp is indicated in the illustration.

3. INSTALL RADIATOR RESERVOIR ASSEMBLY






(a) Install the radiator reservoir with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)
(b) Connect the 2 reservoir hoses.
HINT:
- The direction of the hose clamp is indicated in the illustration.
- Insert the hose into the stopper. Set the hose clamp so that the clearance between the hose clamp and stopper is within 2 to 7 mm (0.0787 to 0.276 in.).

4. ADD ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair

5. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK Testing and Inspection

6. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER Installation

7. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET Installation

8. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH Installation

9. INSTALL AIR CLEANER INLET COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

10. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
