PARK ASSIST / MONITORING: CLEARANCE WARNING BUZZER (for Rear Side): REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY

2. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Battery

3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
NOTICE:
- After the power switch is turned OFF, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch OFF, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal
- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

4. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Ottoman)
Remove the rear seat Removal.
5. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Fixed Seat Type)
Remove the rear seat Removal.
6. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat)
Remove the rear seat Removal.
7. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH Removal

8. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH Removal

9. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH LH Removal

10. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH RH Removal

11. REMOVE INNER ROOF SIDE GARNISH LH Removal

12. REMOVE INNER ROOF SIDE GARNISH RH Removal

13. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY Removal

14. REMOVE NO. 2 CLEARANCE WARNING BUZZER






(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Using a clamp remover, detach the claw and remove the warning buzzer.
