SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM: DRIVER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL DRIVER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY






(a) Connect the connector.
NOTE: When handling the airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

(b) Attach the clip to install the driver side knee airbag.
(c) Install the 4 bolts.
Torque: 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)
(d) Attach the claw to install the lock lever.
(e) Install the control cable.

3. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

4. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER MOULDING Installation

5. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH Installation

6. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH Installation

7. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

8. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Battery

9. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY

10. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
(a) Check the SRS warning light Initialization.
