2GR-FE IGNITION: IGNITION COIL:

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY





(a) Install the 6 ignition coils with the 6 bolts.
Torque: 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)
(b) Connect the 6 ignition coil connectors.
2. INSTALL NO. 1 SURGE TANK STAY

DO NOT apply oil to the bolt listed below:









(a) Install the No. 1 surge tank stay with the bolt.
Torque: 21 Nm (214 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)





(b) Install the bolt and clamp.
Torque: 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)
3. INSTALL INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK ASSEMBLY Installation
4. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL Installation
6. ADD ENGINE COOLANT Testing and Inspection
7. CHECK FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAKS Testing and Inspection
8. INSTALL FRONT SUSPENSION UPPER CENTER BRACE Installation
9. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
10. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Installation
11. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH Installation
12. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Installation
13. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
(a) Perform initialization procedure Repair Instruction - Initialization.
NOTE:
Some vehicle systems require initialization after reconnecting the cable to the negative battery terminal.
