2UR-GSE ENGINE MECHANICAL: DRIVE BELT: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Removal
2. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET Removal
3. SEPARATE RADIATOR RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the 2 bolts and separate the radiator reserve tank assembly.
4. REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT





(a) Rotate the V-ribbed belt tensioner pulley counterclockwise to loosen the V-ribbed belt tensioner.
HINT: The pulley bolt for the V-ribbed belt tensioner is reverse threaded.





(b) While turning the V-ribbed belt tensioner counterclockwise, align the holes. Insert a bar of dia5 mm (0.197 in.) into the holes to secure the V-ribbed belt tensioner in place.
(c) Remove the V-ribbed belt.
