1UR-FSE CHARGING: GENERATOR: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL GENERATOR





(a) Using an E8 "TORX" socket wrench, set the generator with the 2 stud bolts.
Torque: 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)





(b) Install the generator with the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.
Torque: 43 Nm (438 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf)





(c) Connect the generator connector.
(d) Connect the harness to the +B terminal with the nut.
Torque: 12 Nm (122 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf)
2. INSTALL V-RIBBED BELT Installation
3. INSTALL INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR PIPE Installation
4. INSTALL NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER Installation
5. INSTALL FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER PROTECTOR LOWER Installation
6. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER Service and Repair
7. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET Installation
8. INSTALL AIR CLEANER INLET COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
9. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
10. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL





11. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH
(a) Install the 6 clips and cowl top ventilator louver RH.
NOTE:
If the cowl top ventilator louver RH is not properly installed, water may leak into the engine room and cause malfunctions. Therefore, make sure the cowl top ventilator louver RH is installed properly.

12. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
(a) Perform initialization Repair Instruction - Initialization.
NOTE:
Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
