EXTERIOR: FRONT BUMPER: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER MOUNTING BRACKET
(a) Install the mounting bracket to the reinforcement with the 6 screws.
2. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT
(a) Install the reinforcement with the 6 bolts.
Torque: 58 Nm (590 kgf-cm, 43 ft-lbf)
3. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER
4. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH





(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the side retainer.
(b) Install the screw.
5. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH
HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

6. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER COVER





(a) Apply protective tape under the front fender.
(b) Connect the headlight cleaner hose.
(c) Connect the 2 front side reflex reflector connectors.
(d) Connect the 2 fog light connectors.
(e) Attach the claws to install the cover.
(f) Install the 6 screws and 4 clips.
7. INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER LH





(a) Install the front fender liner with the 5 screws.
8. INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER RH
(a) Install the front fender liner with the 5 screws.
9. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE
(a) Install the radiator grille with the 3 bolts.
10. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
11. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
(a) Perform initialization Repair Instruction - Initialization.
NOTE:
Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
