3UZ-FE IGNITION: IGNITION COIL: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY





(a) Connect the ignition coil to the spark plug, attach the ignition coil to the cylinder head cover, and install the bolt.
Torque: 7.5 Nm (76 kgf-cm, 66 in-lbf)
(b) Connect the ignition coil connector.
2. INSTALL INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR PIPE Installation
3. INSTALL V-BANK COVER Installation
4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
5. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
(a) Perform initialization Repair Instruction - Initialization.
NOTE:
Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
