Removal





AUDIO / VISUAL: RADIO RECEIVER: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION (w/ Navigation System for HDD)

NOTICE:
* After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
* A hard disk drive (HDD) is built into the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) to store map data etc. which will be used for the navigation system. Therefore, make sure to read all of the precautions thoroughly before handling the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system).
2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Navigation System for HDD)

3. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Transmission) Removal

4. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission) Removal

5. REMOVE UPPER NO. 2 CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH (for Automatic Transmission) Removal

6. REMOVE UPPER NO. 1 CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH (for Automatic Transmission) Removal

7. REMOVE CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Transmission) Removal

8. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission) Removal

9. REMOVE FRONT CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission) Removal

10. REMOVE FRONT ASH RECEPTACLE SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

11. REMOVE NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY Removal

12. REMOVE CENTER LOWER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL Removal

13. REMOVE INTEGRATION CONTROL PANEL WITH RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (w/o Navigation System)

(a) Remove the 4 bolts.





(b) Pull the integration control panel with radio receiver assembly toward the rear of the vehicle.

(c) Disconnect each connector and remove the panel.

14. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET (w/o Navigation System)

(a) Remove the 6 bolts and No. 1 radio bracket.





15. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET (w/o Navigation System)

(a) Remove the 6 bolts and No. 2 radio bracket.





16. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (w/o Navigation System)

(a) Slide the integration control panel in the direction shown by the arrow to remove the radio receiver assembly.





17. REMOVE DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY WITH RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Navigation System)

(a) Remove the 4 bolts.





(b) Pull the display and navigation module display with radio receiver assembly toward the rear of the vehicle.

(c) Disconnect each connector and remove the display and navigation module display with radio receiver assembly.

18. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET (w/ Navigation System)

(a) Disengage the connector clamp.





(b) Remove the 7 bolts and No. 1 radio bracket.





19. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET (w/ Navigation System)

(a) Remove the 7 bolts and No. 2 radio bracket.





20. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Navigation System)

(a) Slide the display and navigation module display with radio receiver assembly in the direction shown by the arrow to remove the radio receiver assembly.
