LIGHTING: DOOR COURTESY LIGHT: INSPECTION

1. INSPECT DOOR COURTESY LIGHT

(a) Disconnect the connector from the door courtesy light.





(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard voltage:

LH Side::

RH Side::

(c) If the result is not as specified, repair or replace the wire harness or connector.

(d) Connect the (+) lead from the battery to terminal 2 and the (-) lead to terminal 1.





(e) Check that the door courtesy light comes on.

OK:

Comes on

(f) If the result is not as specified, replace the door courtesy light.
