Removal

AUDIO / VIDEO: RADIO ANTENNA CORD: REMOVAL

1. OPEN METAL TOP ROOF Removal

2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD ASSEMBLY

HINT
Refer to the procedure up to Remove Instrument Panel Safety Pad Assembly Removal.

3. REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Disengage the clamp and remove the antenna cord sub-assembly.

4. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY

Refer to the procedure up to Remove Roof Headlining Assembly Removal.

5. REMOVE SATELLITE RADIO ANTENNA ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Remove the antenna nut.

(c) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the satellite radio antenna assembly.

6. REMOVE NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) W/O Manual (SOS) Switch:

(1) Disconnect the 2 connectors.

(2) Remove the bolt.

(b) W/ Manual (SOS) Switch:

(1) Disconnect the 3 connectors.

(2) Remove the bolt.

(c) Disengage the 7 clamps and remove the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly.

7. REMOVE AMPLIFIER ANTENNA ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Remove the bolt.

(c) Disengage the 2 clamps and remove the amplifier antenna assembly.

8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH

9. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY LH Removal

10. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY RH Removal

11. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM GARNISH LH Removal

12. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM GARNISH RH Removal

13. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY WITH CONSOLE BOX Removal

14. REMOVE LAP BELT OUTER ANCHOR COVER

15. DISCONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY Removal

16. REMOVE FRONT QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY Removal

17. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR UPPER END WEATHERSTRIP

18. REMOVE BACK DOOR STOPPER CUSHION LH Removal

19. REMOVE BACK DOOR STOPPER CUSHION RH

25. REMOVE QUARTER SERVICE HOLE COVER

26. MANUALLY CLOSE QUARTER WINDOW ASSEMBLY

27. REMOVE QUARTER WINDOW WITH REGULATOR ASSEMBLY

28. REMOVE ROOF ANTENNA POLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the roof antenna pole sub-assembly by turning it in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration.

29. REMOVE ANTENNA NUT

(a) Remove the antenna nut by turning it in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration.

30. REMOVE ANTENNA ORNAMENT

(a) Remove the antenna ornament.

31. REMOVE ANTENNA ASSEMBLY WITH HOLDER

(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Disengage the clamp.

32. REMOVE NO. 3 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect each connector.

(1) Remove the 2 bolts and disengage the 12 clamps.

(c) for Automatic Transmission:

(1) Remove the 2 bolts and disengage the 11 clamps.

(d) Remove the No. 3 antenna cord sub-assembly.
