Removal

INTERIOR: FRONT CONSOLE BOX (w/ Rear Seat Entertainment System): REMOVAL

1. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH Removal

2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH

Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

3. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

4. REMOVE NO. 3 BOX PANEL Removal

5. REMOVE UPPER REAR CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

6. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

7. REMOVE LOWER CONSOLE COVER

(a) Remove the lower console cover.

8. REMOVE UPPER REAR CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH





(a) Put protective tape around the instrument panel finish panel end.

(b) Using a moulding remover, detach the 5 clips and 3 guides, and then remove the upper rear console panel garnish.

9. REMOVE UPPER NO. 1 CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH





(a) Remove the 2 screws and move the upper No. 1 console panel garnish in the direction of the arrow to remove it.

10. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX GARNISH





(a) Put protective tape around the rear console box garnish.

(b) Using a moulding remover, detach the 2 clips and remove the rear console box garnish.

11. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 CONSOLE END PANEL GARNISH





(a) Remove the 2 screws.

(b) Detach the 2 clips and 4 guides, and then remove the rear No. 1 console end panel garnish.

12. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 CONSOLE END PANEL GARNISH

Use the same procedure described for the rear No. 1 console end panel garnish.

13. REMOVE TELEVISION DISPLAY ASSEMBLY Removal

14. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE END PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the 3 screws.

(b) Detach the 2 clips and remove the rear console end panel.

15. REMOVE DISC PLAYER ASSEMBLY Removal

16. REMOVE CONSOLE COMPARTMENT BOX ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the 6 bolts.

(b) Disconnect each connector and remove the console compartment box.

17. REMOVE NO. 2 CONSOLE BOX DUCT





(a) Remove the 2 clips and No. 2 console box duct.

18. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the 2 screws and 4 bolts.

(b) Detach the 2 claws.

(c) Disconnect each connector and remove the console box.
