Removal





AIR CONDITIONING: AIR CONDITIONING UNIT (for Rear Side): REMOVAL

1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM Service and Repair

2. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH Removal

3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

NOTICE:
* w/ Navigation System (for HDD):
* After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, be sure to wait for the time specified in the following table before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

Waiting Time before Disconnecting Cable from Negative (-) Battery Terminal:





* When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Testing and Inspection.
4. DISCONNECT AIR CONDITIONING TUBE AND ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY





(a) Detach the 3 claws and remove the cover.

(b) Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the 2 tubes.





(c) Remove the 2 O-rings from the 2 tubes.

5. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat)

(a) Remove the rear seat Removal.

6. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Ottoman)

(a) Remove the rear seat Removal.

7. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Fixed Type)

(a) Remove the rear seat Removal.

8. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

(a) for Standard Body:

Remove the rear door scuff plate Removal.

(b) for Long Body:

Remove the rear door scuff plate Removal.

9. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

(a) for Standard Body:

Remove the rear door scuff plate Removal.

(b) for Long Body:

Remove the rear door scuff plate Removal.

10. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH LH

(a) for Standard Body:

Remove the rear seat side garnish Removal.

(b) for Long Body:

Remove the rear seat side garnish Removal.

11. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH RH

(a) for Standard Body:

Remove the rear seat side garnish Removal.

(b) for Long Body:

Remove the rear seat side garnish Removal.

12. REMOVE ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER LH

(a) for Standard Body:

Remove the roof side garnish inner Removal.

(b) for Long Body:

Remove the roof side garnish inner Removal.

13. REMOVE ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER RH

(a) for Standard Body:

Remove the roof side garnish inner Removal.

(b) for Long Body:

Remove the roof side garnish inner Removal.

14. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY

(a) w/ Rear Sunshade:

Remove the package tray trim panel Removal.

(b) w/o Rear Sunshade:

Remove the package tray trim panel Removal.

15. REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER COVER





(a) Detach the 2 clips and remove the cover.

16. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

17. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY Removal

18. REMOVE ROPE HOOK Removal

19. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD LH Removal

20. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD RH Removal

21. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY Removal

22. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY FRONT Removal

23. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY (w/o Spare Tire)

24. REMOVE TOOL BOX (w/o Spare Tire)

25. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE Removal

26. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY LH Removal

27. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY RH Removal

28. REMOVE ROOF SIDE NO. 2 AIR DUCT LH





(a) Remove the clip.

(b) Detach the 2 claws and remove the duct.

29. REMOVE ROOF SIDE NO. 2 AIR DUCT RH





(a) Remove the clip.

(b) Detach the 2 claws and remove the duct.

30. REMOVE REAR NO. 4 AIR DUCT





(a) Detach the 4 claws and remove the duct.

31. REMOVE REAR NO. 5 AIR DUCT





(a) Detach the 4 claws and remove the duct.

32. REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER AIR DUCT





(a) Detach the 2 claws and remove the duct.

33. REMOVE NO. 2 COOLER AIR DUCT





(a) Detach the 3 claws and remove the duct.

34. REMOVE REAR COOLING UNIT ASSEMBLY





(a) Disconnect the clamp and connector.

(b) Remove the 4 bolts and rear cooling unit.
