Disassembly

INTERIOR: REAR CONSOLE BOX: DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE NO. 5 CONSOLE BOX RETAINER

(a) Remove the No. 5 console box retainer as shown in the illustration.

2. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX POCKET

(a) Remove the 2 screws.

(b) Disengage the 4 claws and remove the console box pocket as shown in the illustration.

3. REMOVE FRONT CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 4 screws.

(b) Disengage the 2 guides and remove the front console box assembly.

4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL CUP HOLDER ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the instrument panel cup holder assembly with the 4 screws.

5. REMOVE CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 9 screws and the console compartment door sub-assembly.

6. REMOVE CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 2 screws.

(b) Disengage the 10 claws and remove the console compartment door lock sub-assembly.

7. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX CUSHION

(a) Remove the 2 console box cushions.

8. REMOVE CONSOLE UPPER PANEL GARNISH

(a) Remove the console upper panel garnish as shown in the illustration.

9. REMOVE STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY Removal

10. REMOVE POWER OUTLET SOCKET ASSEMBLY Removal

11. REMOVE POWER OUTLET SOCKET COVER Removal

12. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ILLUMINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Turn the console box illumination light assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove it.

13. REMOVE HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT

(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Disengage the 2 claws and 4 guides, and remove the equipment set as shown in the illustration.

HINT
Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.

14. REMOVE STEREO COMPONENT WIRE

(a) Disengage the 4 clamps and remove the stereo component wire.

15. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE

(a) Disengage the 4 clamps and remove the No. 2 instrument panel wire.
