DESCRIPTION

This circuit detects the state of the windshield wiper switch assembly and sends it to the windshield wiper relay assembly (auto wiper relay).

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (WIPER SWITCH AND WASHER SWITCH)

(a) Remove the windshield wiper switch assembly Removal.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance:





NG -- REPLACE WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (WIPER SWITCH - AUTO WIPER RELAY, BODY GROUND)

(a) Disconnect the E11 windshield wiper relay assembly (auto wiper relay) connector.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
