2GR-FSE ENGINE MECHANICAL: DRIVE BELT: REMOVAL
1. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Removal
2. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
3. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET
(a) Remove the bolt and air cleaner inlet.
4. REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT
(a) Rotate the tensioner pulley counterclockwise to loosen the belt tension. Then remove the V-ribbed belt.
NOTICE:
* The pulley bolt for the belt tensioner has a left-handed thread.
* Do not perform this procedure from underneath the vehicle, as the tensioner may be damaged.
Insert the 5 mm hexagon wrench into the hole to fix the belt tensioner.
