DESCRIPTION

When the cruise control main switch is turned ON, the cruise main indicator light illuminates.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (CRUISE MAIN INDICATOR LIGHT)

(a) Select the active test, use the Techstream (with CAN VIM) to generate a control command, and then check that the cruise main indicator light illuminates.

Combination meter





OK:

Indicator light blinks / goes off.

NG -- GO TO METER / GAUGE SYSTEM How To Proceed With Troubleshooting
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH)

(a) Check the data list for proper functioning of the cruise main indicator light.

When cruise control main switch operation is performed, the result will be the same as above.

NG -- REPLACE CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH
