Removal

1UR-FSE STARTING: STARTER (for AWD): REMOVAL

1. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Remove the exhaust manifold RH Removal.

2. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET RH Removal

3. REMOVE NO. 3 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR





Remove the 3 bolts and heat insulator.

4. REMOVE STARTER ASSEMBLY





Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the starter.





Open the terminal cap.

(a) Remove the 2 nut and disconnect the starter wire.

(b) Disconnect the starter connector and remove the starter.





Remove the flywheel housing side cover.
