Window Defogger System





WINDSHIELD / WINDOWGLASS: WINDOW DEFOGGER SYSTEM: TERMINALS OF ECU

1. CHECK FRONT LIGHT ECU (FRONT CONTROLLER)





(a) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





If the result is not as specified, the front light ECU (front controller) or fuse may have a malfunction.

2. CHECK AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER





(a) Disconnect the L76 and L77 air conditioning amplifier connectors.

(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

3. CHECK DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY (w/ Display and Navigation Module Display)





(a) Disconnect the L59 multi-display connector.

(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

4. CHECK INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL (w/o Display and Navigation Module Display)





(a) Disconnect the L35 integration control and panel connector.

(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
