DESCRIPTION

* If the AUTO UP/DOWN function does not operate, the cause may be one or more of the following:

* ECU in the power window regulator motor determines that the power window regulator motor has not been initialized.

* The master switch has a malfunction.

* The Hall-IC in the driver side power window regulator motor have a malfunction.

* The wiring between the master switch and the driver side power window regulator motor is open or short.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK FOR DTC

(a) Check for DTCs.

D -- GO TO DTC B2313 B2313

C -- GO TO DTC B2312 B2312

B -- GO TO DTC B2311 B2311
A -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK MANUAL UP / DOWN FUNCTION

(a) Check that the manual UP/DOWN function using the multiplex network master switch can operate the driver door power window.

OK:

Manual UP/DOWN function operates normally.

NG -- OTHER PROBLEM Driver Side Power Window Does Not Operate With Power Window Master Switch
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM

(a) Use the Data List to check if the master switch is functioning properly.

Master Switch:





OK:

Techstream display changes normally when master switch is operated.

NG -- REPLACE MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY Removal

OK -- REPLACE FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH Removal
