2AZ-FXE BATTERY / CHARGING: BATTERY: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL AUXILIARY BATTERY

(a) Install the battery.

(b) Connect the battery ventilation hose to the battery without kinking it.

HINT
Push in the battery ventilation hose to the battery until a click sound is heard.

(c) Install the battery clamp with the nut.

Torque : 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)

(d) Install the positive (+) battery terminal with the nut.

(e) Install the battery terminal cap.

2. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

(a) Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal and close the front luggage compartment trim cover.

3. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT

(a) Install the luggage compartment floor mat.
