DESCRIPTION

The headlight leveling ECU assembly transmits the warning signal to the combination meter via the main body ECU LH when the ECU detects a malfunction of the automatic headlight beam level control system and the warning message is displayed on the multi-information display.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT HEADLIGHT LEVELING ECU ASSEMBLY (INPUT VOLTAGE)

(a) Disconnect the A61 headlight leveling ECU assembly connector.

(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage:





NG -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEADLIGHT LEVELING ECU ASSEMBLY - MAIN BODY ECU LH)

OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE

2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEADLIGHT LEVELING ECU ASSEMBLY - MAIN BODY ECU LH)

(a) Disconnect the A61 headlight leveling ECU assembly connector.

(b) Disconnect the A30 main body ECU LH connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK -- REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU LH (COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK LH)
