Test K: The Satellite Audio Is Inoperative/Does Not Operate Correctly
PINPOINT TEST K: THE SATELLITE AUDIO IS INOPERATIVE/DOES NOT OPERATE CORRECTLYNormal Operation
The satellite digital audio receiver system (SDARS) module receives voltage through circuit SBP03 (BU/RD), and ground through circuit GD114 (BK/BU). Digital signals are received by the satellite antenna and sent to the SDARS module. Audio signals are sent to the audio rear control unit (RCU) or the rear seat entertainment module (RETM) (if equipped), then to the audio control module (ACM).
This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Subscription status
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- SDARS module
- RCU
- RETM
- ACM
