XB136 - Clear and Attempt to Regenerate Code 583



- Key "OFF".

- Clear continuous memory. Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

- Start or attempt to start engine (if engine will not start, crank for 5 seconds).

- Rerun Key On Engine Off (KOEO) Self-Test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)

- Is Continuous Memory Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) 583 present?

Yes -- DTC 583 is a hard fault. Go to XB139 (to check power-to-pump / Fuel Pump Monitor (FPM) for short to ground). XB139 - Attempt to Isolate Short to Ground

No -- DTC 583 is intermittent. Go to XB137. XB137 - Were KOEO Code 524 and/or 543 Present In XB136
