XB145 - Check For B+ to VCRM (Pins 4 and 5)

- Key "OFF".

- High Speed Fuel Pump (HFP) relay disconnected.

- Disconnect Variable Control Relay Module (VCRM). Inspect for damaged or pushed out pins, corrosion, loose wires, etc. Service as necessary.

- Connect Digital Volt/Ohm Meter (DVOM) negative test lead to the battery negative post.

- Check for voltage on Pins 4 and 5 at the VCRM vehicle harness connector.

- Are both voltages greater than 10.5 volts?

Yes -- Go to XB146. XB146 - Check Power to Pump Circuit Continuity

No -- Service open in B(+) supply to VCRM (verify integrity of any related fuses). Reconnect all components. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
