XB42 - Check ACP VREF Circuit For Short to Ground

- Key "OFF".

- A/C Pressure (ACP) sensor disconnected.

- Disconnect Variable Control Relay Module (VCRM). Inspect for damaged or pushed out pins, corrosion, loose wires, etc. Service as necessary.

- Measure resistance between the ACP VREF circuit at the ACP sensor vehicle harness connector and the battery ground post.

- Is resistance greater than 10,000 ohms?

Yes -- Replace VCRM. Reconnect all components. Clear continuous memory. Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

Start engine, wait 15 seconds. Key "OFF". Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)

No -- Service ACP VREF circuit short to ground. Reconnect all components. Clear continuous memory. Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes
