PINPOINT TEST K: DTC C1288-BRAKE PRESSURE TRANSDUCER INPUT CIRCUIT FAILURE

CAUTION: Use the Flex Probe Kit for all test connections to prevent damage to the wiring terminals. Do not use standard multimeter probes.

Normal Operation
The brake pressure transducer sends current to the ABS module proportional to the driver's brake pedal application.

Reference voltage is supplied by circuit 7-CF64 (YE/BK). Ground is provided through circuit 9-CF64 (BN/YE). The transducer current is supplied by circuit 8-CF64 (WH/BK).

Possible Causes
^ Reference voltage circuit 7-CF64 (YE/BK).
^ Ground circuit 9-CF64 (BN/YE)
^ Transducer signal circuit 8-CF64 (WH/BK)
^ Brake pressure transducer
^ ABS module.
