PINPOINT TEST L: DTC C1730-REFERENCE VOLTAGE OUT OF RANGE (+5 V)

CAUTION: Use the Flex Probe Kit for all test connections to prevent damage to the wiring terminals. Do not use standard multimeter probes.

Normal Operation
The 5-volt reference voltage is supplied by the Anti-Lock Brake Module (ABS).

Reference voltage is supplied lay circuit 7-CF64 (YE/BK). The reference voltage circuit returns to the ABS module through the PTS switch circuit 9-CF65 (BN/WH) and the brake pressure transducer: circuit 9-CF64 (BN/YE).

Possible Causes
^ Circuit 7-CF64 (YE/BK).
^ Ground circuit 9-CF65 (BN/WH).
^ Ground circuit 9-CF64 (BN/YE).
^ ABS module.
^ IVD input/output components:
- PTS switch
- Brake pressure transducer
