Normal Operation
The active wheel speed sensor generates a square wave signal that is sent to the ABS module. The wheel speed sensor circuitry connects to the ABS module connector C135 through two wires and a connector at each wheel speed sensor. When the ignition is turned to the RUN position, the ABS module carries out a self-test by sending a reference voltage through the right front wheel speed sensor and its circuitry to determine if they are functional.

Twelve volts are supplied to the active wheel speed sensors from the ABS module. The wheel speed sensor ground is supplied by the ABS module.

Possible Causes
^ wheel speed sensor
^ wheel speed sensor harness circuit(s) (power or ground)
^ ABS or wheel speed sensor connector(s)

CAUTION: Use the Flex Probe Kit for all test connections to prevent damage to the wiring terminals. Do not use standard multimeter probes.
