Tests G5(continued) - G6:

Normal Operation
The steering wheel rotation sensor monitors the steering wheel position when the toothed-wheel on the steering shaft passes through its magnetic field.

Steering wheel rotation (in degrees) is sent to the ABS module through circuit 8-CC18 (WH/RD) and circuit 10-CC17 (GY). Voltage is supplied by the ABS module through circuit 7-CC1 (YE/RD). Ground is provided by the ABS module through circuit 9-CC1 (BN/RD).

Possible Causes
^ sensor signal circuit 8-CC18 (WH/RD)
^ sensor signal circuit 10-CC17 (GY)
^ sensor power circuit 7-CC 1 (YE/RD)
^ sensor ground circuit 9-CC1 (BN/RD)
^ steering wheel rotation sensor

CAUTION: Use the Flex Probe Kit for all test connections to prevent damage to the wiring terminals Do not use standard multimeter probes.
