Normal Operation
The navigation module communicates with the scan tool through the standard corporate protocol (SCP) communication network. Circuits 914 (TN/OG) (SCP +) and 915 (PK/LB) (SCP-) provide the network connection to the navigation module. The navigation module shares the SCP network with the lighting control module (LCM), the driver seat module (DSM) (if equipped), the driver door module (DDM), the electronic automatic temperature control (EATC) module, the rear audio/climate control module and the instrument cluster. Voltage for the navigation module is provided by circuits 1499 (PK/LG) and 1772 (VT). Circuit 694 (BK/LG) provides ground.
