Front Door Window Regulator: Service and Repair

FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the following parts:
1. Inner garnish
2. Front door trim
3. Front door speaker
4. Front door glass
5. Power window motor
6. Front beltline molding






3. Remove the nuts.






4. Insert a hand through the speaker installation hole, rotate the drum housing in the direction shown in the figure to detach the tabs from the front door unit.






5. Remove the front power window regulator as shown in the figure.
6. Install in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION: Make sure the cable does not unspool from the drum housing when installing.
