B-PILLAR TRIM PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
Removal/Installation
Upper
1. Remove the safety belt D-ring guide cover by squeezing the height adjuster buttons and pulling the cover out at the bottom.
NOTE: Inspect the safety belt D-ring cover for damage. If the safety belt D-ring cover does not remain in place, install a new cover.
2. Remove the safety belt bolt.
- To install, tighten to 48 Nm {4.8 kgf-m, 35 ft-lbf}.
3. Position the front and rear door weatherstrips aside.
4. Remove the cover, bolt and the upper B-pillar trim panel.
- To install, tighten to 7 Nm {0.7 kgf-m, 62 in-lbf}.
NOTE: Lower the adjustable safety belt to access the B-pillar trim panel bolt.
Lower
1. Remove the 2 pin-type retainers and the front door scuff plate trim panel.
2. Remove the pin-type retainer and the rear door scuff plate trim panel.
3. Remove the lower B-pillar trim panel.
All Vehicles
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
