Removal and Replacement

EXHAUST INTERMEDIATE PIPE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - HYBRID

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. See Lifting.

2. Remove and discard the 3 exhaust intermediate pipe-to-catalytic converter manifold nuts.

- To install, tighten to 25 Nm {2.5 kgf-m, 18 ft-lbf}.

3. Remove the 2 catalytic converter-to-exhaust intermediate pipe spring nuts and the intermediate pipe.

- Discard the nuts and gaskets.
- To install, tighten to 25 Nm {2.5 kgf-m, 18 ft-lbf}.

4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

- Install new gaskets and nuts.
