Headliner: Service and Repair
HEADLINER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION1. Shift to the D (ATX) or 4th gear (MTX) position. (4 door)
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Partially peel back the seaming welts.
4. Remove the following parts:
1. Sunroof seaming welt (vehicles with sunroof)
2. Console (4 door)
3. A-pillar trim
4. Upper anchor of the front seat belt
5. Front scuff plate
6. Rear scuff plate
7. B-pillar lower trim
8. B-pillar upper trim
9. Rear seat
10. Tire house trim
11. Trunk side upper trim (5 door)
12. C-pillar trim
13. Map light
14. Interior light
15. Sunvisor
16. Assist handle
5. Disconnect the roof wiring harness connector and remove the roof wiring harness connector clip from the body.
6. Disconnect the rear washer hose. (5 door)
7. Remove the fasteners.
8. Detach the tab from the roof panel and remove the headliner.
9. Take the headliner out from the opened front passenger-side door. (4 door)
10. Take the headliner out from the opened liftgate. (5 door)
11. Install in the reverse order of removal.
