Hood: Service and Repair




HOOD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

WARNING:
- Removing the hood without supporting it could cause the hood to fall and cause serious injury. Always perform the procedure with at least another person to prevent the hood from falling.

1. To remove the hood hinges, remove the following parts:
a. Windshield wiper arm and blade Windshield Wiper Arm and Blade Removal/Installation

b. Cowl grille Cowl Grille Removal/Installation

c. Front bumper Removal and Replacement

d. Front combination lights Front Combination Light Removal/Installation

e. Side step molding

f. Sail garnish Service and Repair

g. Front fender panel Service and Repair

2. Disconnect the windshield washer hose.

3. Remove in the order indicated in the table.










4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

5. Adjust the hood. Adjustments
