Removal and Replacement

HOOD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

WARNING:
- Removing the hood without supporting it could cause the hood to fall and cause serious injury. Always perform the procedure with at least another person to prevent the hood from falling.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Disconnect the washer hose A. Windshield Washer Hose Removal/Installation

3. Loosen the bolt A.

4. Remove the bolt B.






5. Remove the hood in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure.






6. Remove the following parts:
a. Front bumper Removal and Replacement

b. Front combination light Service and Repair

c. Front fender molding Cowl Grille Removal/Installation

d. Side step molding

e. Front fender panel Service and Repair

7. Remove bolt C, and remove the hood hinge in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure.






8. Install in the reverse order of removal.

9. Perform the hood adjustment. Adjustments
