Outer Mirror Glass Inspection





OUTER MIRROR GLASS INSPECTION

NOTE:
- In consideration of servicing efficiency, perform the power outer mirror inspection first.

With Heated Outer Mirror

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the outer mirror glass. Outer Mirror Glass Removal

3. Verify that the resistance is as indicated in the table.











- If not as indicated in the table, replace the outer mirror glass. Outer Mirror Glass Removal Outer Mirror Glass Installation

With Auto-dimming Mirror

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the outer mirror glass. Outer Mirror Glass Removal

3. Connect the auto-dimming mirror connector (outer mirror glass side) terminal A to a dry cell battery's plus (+) terminal (1.2 V) and terminal B to its minus terminal.











- Verify that the mirror side of the outer mirror glass changes color.
