Pinpoint Test Y: The Audio Control Module (ACM) Does Not Respond To Touchscreen Or Button Presses

Normal Operation

When a button is pressed on the Audio Control Module (ACM) (whether it is a hard button or the touchscreen), a signal is sent over the Medium Speed Controller Area Network (MS-CAN) to the modules in the audio system.

- B2924 (Audio Button Stuck) - sets in continuous memory when an ACM hard button is stuck for longer than 2 minutes, or during the on-demand self-test if an ACM hard button is detected as active for any duration. Make sure no ACM buttons are pressed during the self-test. This DTC applies to vehicles without navigation only.
- U2013:63 (Switch Pack: Circuit / Component Protection Time-Out) - sets in continuous memory when an ACM hard button is stuck for longer than 2 minutes, or during the on-demand self-test if an ACM hard button is detected as active for any duration. Make sure no ACM buttons are pressed during the self-test. This DTC applies to vehicles with navigation only.

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:

- Communication network concern
- ACM
