- Spark plug socket and ratchet
- Torque wrench - 0-30 ft.lbs, for tightening spark plugs
- Spark plug gap gauge
- Compression gauge
- Timing Light - preferably with timing advance.
- Distributor wrench
- Tachometer - For setting idle speed and ignition timing.
- Ohmmeter - For measuring ignition cable resistance.
- Vacuum Gauge - For measuring engine vacuum.
- Fuel Pressure Gauge.
- Drip Pan - For removing fuel filter.

- Dielectric Grease - Applied to the spark plug terminal to prevent corrosion and maintain a good electrical contact.
