TP3 - Check Wires to PCM
- Key OFF.
- Install Breakout Box (leave PCM disconnected).
- Disconnect the TP sensor connector.
- Measure the resistances of the TP wire and SIGRTN wire between BOB Test Pins and the TP sensor harness connector.
- Measure the resistance of the TP wire between BOB Test Pin TP and ground.
- Are the resistances less than 5 ohms between BOB Test Pins and the TP sensor harness connector, and greater than 10,000 ohms between BOB Test Pin TP and ground?
Yes -- Replace the throttle position sensor.
No -- Service the wire(s) in question.
