Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List:
P0707, P0705 Transmission Range (TR) sensor or circuit shorted.
P0708 TR sensor or circuit open.
P1705 TR sensor not indicating park (P) during Key On Engine Off (KOEO).

NOTE: This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the Transmission Range (TR) sensor electrical system only. To prevent replacement of good components, be aware that the following areas may be at fault:
- Engine.
- Starter, starter relay.
- Electrical.
- Battery, ignition switch, wiring harnesses.
- Transmission.
- Internal transmission components, linkages.

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following components:
- Transmission wiring harness, Transmission Range (TR) sensor.
- Powertrain Control Module (PCM).
- Starter circuits, backup circuit.
