Removal and Installation

1. Remove the battery. For additional information, refer to Battery Battery.

2. Remove the battery tray fasteners.
- Hybrid vehicles use 4 nuts.

- All other vehicles use 1 bolt and 2 nuts.

- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

3. Remove the battery tray.

4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
