Canister Purge Control Valve: Service and Repair

Replacing Tank Venting Valve

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:
- Read out fault memory of DME control unit.
- Check stored fault messages.
- Switch off ignition.

Unlock and disconnect both lines ( 1 ).

Bend locking tongue ( 1 ) straight and slide venting valve from holder.

Unlock connector ( 2 ) and remove.

NOTE:
Now clear the fault memory.
