Replacing Rear Left or Right Power Window Unit

51 37 003 - Replacing rear left or right power window unit





Special tools required:
- 51 2 220 51 2 220 Torx
- 51 3 240 51 3 240 Spanner





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove rear power window unit completely Removing and Installing Complete Rear Left or Right Power Window Unit
- Remove flat motor for rear power window unit Removing and Installing/Replacing Flat Motor for Rear Left or Right Power Window Unit





Release shims (1) with special tool 51 3 240 51 3 240 Spanner in clockwise direction and remove side window glass (2) from power window unit (4).





Installation:
Following parts must not be damaged or missing:

1 - Spacer ring
2 - Shim





Installation:
Initial adjustment of pretension:
Fit adjusting screw (1) with special tool 51 2 220 51 2 220 Torx until flush externally.
Check function.
Adjust rear side window Adjustments.
