Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove suction filter housing.
- Remove battery Removing and Installing/Replacing Battery
- Disconnect plug connector from EMS/DME control unit Service and Repair





Release screws (1) of battery container, tightening torque 61 21 3AZ [1][2]Battery.
Remove inner fasteners (2) of battery container.
Release wiring harness retaining clips (3) in base of battery container.
