13 71 000 - Removing and installing intake filter housing (COOPER S)





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Switch off ignition





Remove battery connection point (1) and lay to one side.
Unlock plug on DME control unit and disconnect.
Release screws on intake filter housing.
Release clamp (2) and remove hose from intake filter housing.
Tightening torque 13 71 1AZ.

Installation:
Note installation position of wiring harness mounting.





Remove inlet pipe (1) from intake filter housing.
Remove intake filter housing.





Installation:
Note installation position of rubber elements.
