51 44 150 - Replacing trim for front roofliner





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Open convertible top.
- Remove both trims for front roof pillar Removing and Installing or Replacing Trim For Roof Pillar At Front (A-Pillar), Left or Right
- Remove interior rear-view mirror Removing and Installing or Replacing Interior Rearview Mirror
- Remove complete ceiling light Service and Repair
- Remove both counter-supports Service and Repair





Detach mucket (1) in area of front roofliner trim (2).
Unclip retainers (3) on trim for front roofliner (2) downwards.
Carefully pull off trim for front roofliner (2) downwards.

Installation:
Make sure mucket (1) is correctly seated.
If necessary, replace faulty clips (3).





Disconnect plugs (1 and 2).
Remove trim for front roofliner (3) downwards.





Installation:
Guides (1) on trim for front roofliner (2) must not be damaged.

Replacement:

If necessary, remove/replace following parts:
(3) - Switch for side window operation Service and Repair
(4) - Switch for convertible top operation Service and Repair
(5) - Hands-free microphone
